How do I delete some texts messages?

I have about 5k texts and it takes MS MyPhone forever to reload them all back on. Wondering if there is a way to, lets say, delete all texts over 3 months old? I dont want to get rid of all my texts. But even If I could just keep all texts from the last 30 days that would be awesome.

how about on your phone, sort them all by date received (first disable threaded messaging) and then drag-select all the older ones?
