Can't stand the bugs and incompatabilities. A little looks can be sacrificed...

Any good stable roms without them and perhaps without titanium?

Did you not look in the upgrades section? There are a lot of great roms, you just have to flash and see what works for you. Try out PowerRom by Trident. It has just titanium and no manila. I haven't tried it because i am a manila person, but from the looks of it, it should be solid rom.

I like this new build- really quick.

I'll reiterate what is good advice for any ROM flash but seems particularly true for this SYS- flash a SHIPPED ROM prior to flashing a 21725 ROM.

FuFu ROM lite... Super light weight rom w/ no Manilla... I haven't ran it in a while, so I'm not sure how stable it is, but it held up well when I used the first 6.5 release out a few months (or weeks?) ago. I'm sure it's only gotten better though.

Indagroove also has 6.5 with no manilla installed. Very stable

Indagroove's simple ROM is very nice, though he is using 21728

If you're on Sprint, try groove's. If your on Alltel, give mine a shot - its a generic rom but I'm on Alltel so I can help you. :)
