Internet Sharing without Ad-Hoc

I'm trying to get my Diamond Internet to work with my PS3/Wii, however they don't accept Ad-Hoc connections (using wmwifirouter). Is there a way to get around this?

I thought there was an option to set up WMWiFiRouter with the connection you want, whether it is adhoc or something else. Go to Configuration- WiFi Network and it has an option for Adhoc (advised) orNone (advanced)You can probably set up what you need there.

You can manually set it up.

connect your ps3 and touch pro to your access point
in the ps3, do a manual set and point it to the ip address of your touch pro.

Re: Internet Sharing without Ad-Hoc

Or you can use your laptop.
You can do it two ways,
1. With WMwifi router
a. connect your laptop to your PS3 with a lan cable.
b. connect your laptop to the wifi connection provided by your phone from wmwifirouter.
c. right click on the wifi connection in network settings.
d. click on advanced, check the box that says share this connection, use the dropdown box to select the connection that you want to share it with (ie. lan connection)
e. click ok.

or
2. Using a USB connection from your phone
a.connect your laptop to your PS3 via lan cable
b. connect your laptop to your phone via usb connection method
c. open network connections and highlight both lan connections (the one from your phone and the one to your PS3)
d. right click and select bridge connections.
