Flashing Alltel to Verizon
 

Ok so I just got my alltel diamond off of ebay.
So I am wondering if it is possible to flash it to verizon.

Maybe. You could call Alltel and have them check the ESN first off.

I think the ESN is bad on alltel, but I will be using it on verizon so I don't think it matters that its bad.

I read awhile ago of people doing *228 option 3 to activate other carriers phones, but I just now found out that loophole doesn't work anymore. And those threads aren't there anymore...

I have already updated the PRL NID SID and all those settings. Now I just have to get actually activated. I am going to try and call verizon today and see if I can sweet talk some reps.

Not to be the bearer of bad news, but verizon and alltel are one company behind the scenes already, and I know in central US they will be the same company to the public by the end of Q3. If you are gonna try and activate it on verizon, and its bad ESN with alltel, I'd get on it quick before any records are merged if it hasn't happened already. Just a thought, good luck though.
