Looking for a case and holster. Difference between GSM and CDMA?
 

Fellas,

I'm going to take the plunge and get an unlocked Diamond. However I'd like a nice case and holster combo and see that Seidio makes some. They do mention however that their cases for the GSM diamond are not compatibile with the CDMA Diamond.

Are there really differences in the hardware/case/appearence between the GSM and CDMA versions of the Diamond?

Yes there is a difference. The CDMA version is more rounded, thicker, and had a different back than it's GSM counterpart.

visit zagg.com the "shield" is one of the best things I´ve bought for my ipod touch, my nokia n95, the v3 razr, various iphones and I´ll buy for my new htc diamond cdma and my aspire one netbook. I seriously recomend this shield mate!! Besides It looks nicer without a hard case...:headbang:

I have a Seidio shell for my CDMA diamond. I like the extra protection that it provides and it adds a nice grip as well. I carry it in a Body Glove holster that I got from WalMart. I think it's generic but it might be made for a Moto Razer. The diamond with shell fits easily in the holster. I can provide pictures if you like.
