Make Opera default link opener instead of IE
 
Whenever I check emails and want to open links from within the emails, IE opens up. I hate IE. I use opera exclusively on the phone.

Is there any way I can change a setting so that the default program becomes opera?

The browser section of my phone opens opera, not IE.

I am on mightyrom 4.8

try this registry edit:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\: DEFBROWSER
"0"=Opera Browser
"1"=\Windows\OperaL.exe

this should come with opera, instructions i mean.

type opera:config in your opera browser, click enter, now scroll down to install, click it, then check the box next to first time launch and hit save. now exit opera completely, now re enter opera and check your email now to see if it opens opera, now itll work...... no cabs to steal memory, no crazy reg edits, its a simple settings in opera itself.
