how to install exe files on diamond

how do I install an exe into my phone, it only recognizes cab files, is there something i need to install where my 6.1 os recognizes exe as a valid app?

If it is a mobile program, in .exe format, then you have to connect to the computer via active sync and install from the computer. If it's not a mobile program then it can't be installed on the PPC.

depends on if the app is a pc exe or a ppc exe... if it is a ppc exe then you can just copy it where ever you like on your device and click on it to run the app...

well its a mobile exe file, but my diamond cant open the extension. I cant get activesync to work for some reason, not sure why but my computer wont recognize it from the activesync program, so I usually just copy files in disk mode and do everything from my diamond.

Best bet then is to look for a cab file of the same program you're trying to install.

Maybe it's an EXE to CAB installer? Try running it through AS on the computer.
