Using voice mail codes - <star star>
Why is it that the star key, within the dialer (almost any dialer, including ones on my old 6700), cycles between "*", "p", and "w", instead of allowing you to repeat the star key?
Nortel voice mail systems require a double-star input to reach your voice mail box functions. The stock Sprint dialer and the Black Dialer both do this Somebody had HAD to have a problem with this...is there a registry change that can be made? I need to change my signature. I am using a Sprint HTC Touch Diamond. |
Re: Using voice mail codes - <star star>
Try installing a different dialer.

Re: Using voice mail codes - <star star>
If you wait about half a second between presses it should give you another star. Atleast it works for me with the black dialer.

Re: Using voice mail codes - <star star>
Voice mail system doesn't wait for the pause.
I just don't know what the point is with the "p" and "w" scrolling. I'll try another dialer. Thanks. |
Re: Using voice mail codes - <star star>
It does not work with the RuskiyAB CDMA Black S2A dialer, either.

Re: Using voice mail codes - <star star>
Could you just store the phone number so it automatically logs you in? ie: 555-1234p**xxxx
I haven't tried this with my diamond but it's worked for me with an older phone. |
