making T9 text bigger and having trouble with picture mail.
i have a diamond from sprint and use T9 text. when i have the work options on the top, i am required to click the right word with my fingers. this is the word in the black bar. how do i increase this font size? i know i can increase the rest of the text by spinning the wheel thing around the enter button but what about the text words.
also my picture mail doesn't really send. it takes awile and eventually is marked as sent, but it doesn't go out. last, what file is the text and voicemail sounds in? i thought i found the right one and dropped some ringers in there but nothing. thanks |

I'd consider using Arcsoft MMS instead of sprint picture mail.

Re: making T9 text bigger and having trouble with picture mail.
have you tried installing the picture mail update cab from the default sprint website. just click the link at the top that says check for updates.

The ringtones are in your windows folder

Re: making T9 text bigger and having trouble with picture mail.
i have my ringers in my windows->ring folder. should i just put them in the windows main folder? they show up as ringers but not for text or email alerts. maybe the name is too long?
|
Re: making T9 text bigger and having trouble with picture mail.
I think the alert tones have to be in wav format... not sure though!
|
Re: making T9 text bigger and having trouble with picture mail.
MP3s work for text messaging and ringtone alerts, but you need .wav files for everything else. Audacity should be able to convert it and it's free.

Re: making T9 text bigger and having trouble with picture mail.
can i use audacity from my phone or download an ap? and i don't think it does work with text notification with out converting.
|
Re: making T9 text bigger and having trouble with picture mail.
No it's a computer program. Another option is to use the PPC app MP3 Trimmer.
|
Re: making T9 text bigger and having trouble with picture mail.
i used the mp3 trimmer on my phone but can't create a wav with it. i did convert the files on audacity like you said and have them in the ringers folder on the device and they still only show up as ringers. no text or email.

Re: making T9 text bigger and having trouble with picture mail.
anyone?
|
Re: making T9 text bigger and having trouble with picture mail.
Try making them .WAV files.
|
Re: making T9 text bigger and having trouble with picture mail.
thats what i tried to say in post 14. they are .wav's and they dont show up under text or email. but they do under ringtones.

Re: making T9 text bigger and having trouble with picture mail.
Put it in \Windows or \Windows\Rings and see if that works.
|
Re: making T9 text bigger and having trouble with picture mail.
the windows worked. i know i put something in there once. it must of been when they were still .wav. for future reference for anyone else. if its in windows/rings it can only be a ringer, but in /windows it can also be a text. thanks guys.

Re: making T9 text bigger and having trouble with picture mail.
There is a registry edit on the last few pages of the MR thread. Try using that.
