Google maps location problem

"your location is temporarily unavailable"

what's the deal? i just installed MightyROM 4.6 and the latest google maps. i am on the Bell network, if that makes a difference.

try going to menu/use gps, instead, cee what ya get?? HTH

Does it say that right away? You may have to use QPST per the sticky to apply GPS. Also double check that the Location Setting is turned on and that GPS is set to COM 4/4800 Baud.

GPS is working (but only outdoors, of course) and just to see what would happen i tried out those settings (COM4/4800) and GPS no longer worked. Right now it is set to 'managed by windows'.

When I try to use the cell tower location service it just gives me 'your location is temporarily unavailable' message immediately, with no pause.
