I only just installed MyPhone a couple weeks ago but this has been happening to me for a few months before that..

happens to me too, and i never installed anything other than the stock stuff. happens to both of my diamonds and previously the touch and the mogul. its annoying when you wait for a girl that you like to call because you got all excited when the phone lid up thinking that she's calling, but its not her, only the phone playing trick on you. it happens more often when im cruising on the freeway. i thought it has to do something with the signal or lack off signal from the towers.

Your phone just woke up from a bad dream or something lol. I too get that a lot.

Mine has done this too but I've noticed it usually does it when I get a picture mail message. So next time it happens go to your online pic mail account and see if u got a new picture.

Maybe you switch from EVDO to Revision A EVDO or 1X? Or do you download weather automatically? Do you have an Exchange setup? Is there anything like that?

i think it happens when your connection is eithier stopping or starting backup, i always get that and think nothing is coming than like 2 min later get a pic message

For me, it always happens on the same part of a certain drive for me. I'm fairly confident that it's due to going from a 1x to an EVDO area (or a pocket where there's a bad signal).

btw this also happens to me at exactly midnight everyday.
