Re: Will GPS work in London?
I am glad that you all say it did work for you, but it sure didn't for me. I was in Spain back in October. Tried and tried many times, can never lock on because the phone would tell me I had no active cell connection. Best of luck to the OP in London. I would still recommend a bluetooth receiver just in case it doesn't work out like me.

Yeah just turn the phone part off. You could try wifi though.

Re: Will GPS work in London?
The Sprint Touch Diamond GPS works in London. I was just there for a couple of days and it worked perfectly with Garmin Mobile XT. The phone, bluetooth, and wifi was off and I was able to get GPS in less than a minute. I even turned it on during a train ride south of London and it worked great.
I tried the phone several times, but it would search and never find any service. In the end, you don't need phone or data service for the Sprint Touch Diamond GPS to work. Have fun and hope it doesn't rain on your trip. |
