FIXED!! PointUI Home 2 background pixelated issue...
Dragonfly over pointui community found a way to make the background better.
1. Find you image u like 2. Resize it to 400x400 if not at that size already. 3. Set the dpi to 96 dpi. 4. Save it as PNG format, and upload to device, voila beautiful background. Note: It is best to use Photoshop to do this for maximum quality. The DPI setting is actually named "Resolution" in photoshop. I tried it myself and worked great. |

Re: Point UI 2 Released! VGA Diamond Version. Nice!
I'm back to the standard Today screen. It just gives me access to more information and more functions with fewer touches. I've got the date, time, upcoming calendar, full 5-day weather forecast with 1-touch access to details, number of unread sms/mms/vms/email all with 1-touch access directly to those, and 6 one-touch speed dial/speed sms.
I like the standard Today screen. It's the app switching, overall sluggishness, crappy management, and total lack of integration that aggravate me about WM. |

Well, PointUI does provide a pretty complete scripting guide, so pumping out applets shouldn't be too difficult for those so inclined.
So maybe PointUI is a good starting point. I certainly love its fluidity. |

Is there a battery drain issue with PointUI? any links to where I can read more about that?
