I think what I like most about this SIP is how easy it is to personalize it.

Added features on the new version will be:

* Self contained haptic feedback (configurable).
* Additional sounds or "no sound" option.
* Ability to hide or show the SIP deploy icon/bar in landscape and portrait.
* Configurable backspace key action (delete word, delete line, delete all, etc.)

I think there's more but that's all I can think of now.
I just checked over at XDA and I don't see any news or updates yet. We'll just have to be patient for a little bit more.

Of all the forums I've been on I've never seen one get way more out of hand than that one. Those guys put a lot of work in and KABOOM! all hell breaks loose.

I'm surprised that so many people are in uproar over beta software that I don't even think HTC has released...oh well sorry to get off topic. :angry7:

*edit* I just looked at the new thread they just started yesterday... it's already over 30 pages... lots or redundant, useless information. I feel sorry for those guys. They never should have released the cabs before the OEMs. Could have let the major chefs sort thru the problems instead of the general public. Oh, well.

qvga? plus skin? how to?
 

ok since this thread has the qvga cab posted, i hope its ok to ask bout that version.
1st great keyboard, great layout.
2nd the qvga cab doesnt have the extra row at the bottom, w/ the arrows, how could i include them? (w/ this extra row does it make all the buttons a bit bigger? would like that. dont care to much bout a smaller text screen)
3rd i have been searching threw this thread and the 1 at xda for a qvga skin, an no luck. i really like the skin in the pic on post 1, 2nd from the left (all black w/ green). has this been done or is any1 in the process? if not could any1 help an explain step by step to skin this for qvga, i'd like to give it a go.

Well there is a new version coming real soon. Just wait and see what layouts they have for QVGA. I'm sorry but i don't have QVGA to test on. To get the arrows in means a whole new layout would have to be made.
