ok I still dont understand how to get the landscape zip :-( Can anybody PM me in like cave man english or something on how to do it? :-) (What's sad is, that im actually really good on the computer and can program a bit and fix almost anything, and yet, I can't do a simple thing in a windows phone....)

OK.. so the file is a standard Zip file.. you can simply unzip it on your pic which leaves you with a txt file.. move THAT file to your phone (same way you did the cab file).. the file goes into the folder where your keyboard is installed.. \Program Files\FingerKeyb\FingerKeyboard-Black edition v1.4..... is how mine shows... the next folder is \Skins.... drop the file txt file there

Now... in order for it to make any difference you have to be using landscape in the first place.. so just having the skin will not offer you landscape keyboard by turning your phone.. but if you're in an app that works with the turning of the phone then the landscape will be available and/or if you manually instigate landscape.. IE Gyrator as offered before or rotatescreen.exe or mapping hardkey to turn the screen to landscape for the app you're in.... then access keyboard the layout will be available...

buddy, you don't konw what you're getting yourself into with that skin.txt haha. maing it work in landscape for diam was hard enough

i have an issue i installed all 3 zips but i could never get it to change out of full querty, so what do i have to do to get this to work on my diamond

After you installed, did you go into the program and "register" it?

i did it said something like register upload, but even before when i wanted to change just regular keyboards i picked which ever i wanted but it would go back to compact querty

First of all, you do need to "register" it inside the application. Then go to settings, input, and select the keyboard and options. If you are comfortable editing the registry, then here's what I have done to make sure that the keyboard is set as the default, and will survive a soft reset of the device. You won't have to mess around with SIP Change or anything like that. Anyway, with your registry editor, go to ...

HKCU\ControlPanel\SIP\DefaultIm

Dword value = {C03755DF-3EE7-41DF-AE5E-3FBBCA603F1A}

Wait a couple of minutes, and then soft reset ...

i did this and waited 5 min and after the softreset my phone will not boot so i had to do a hard reset. i know how to change reg. strings trust me this is not my first, and i triple checked to make sure i punched in the writ numbers, in fact i made a txt file and copy and pasted it, and i made sue the spaces where right and everything. so, are you 100% sure this works and does what you say it does???

I know this is a "AT YOUR OWN RISK" hobbie so please dont think i am blaming you for anything.
