i want to install custom gps software. but i want to back my phone up befre i do. can some one help me

SBP Backup is a great program. I use it all the time. Its not free, but I believe it comes with a 15 day trial.

What does that have to do with backing up your phone? He suggested SPB to back up your phone, just as I would have or anyone else. Its the best backup program there is.

lurkers crack me up sometimes. You can afford a phone like this but are to cheap to pay for a backup program? LOLOL

A good backup program is PIM backup just google it. It is freeware.

What is it exactly you're asking for, then? You asked about backing up your phone, good advice was given, and now you're saying that wasn't what you wanted???

I have used the free Sprite (800W) and had problems with corrupt backups. On the 800W I went with SPB Backup and it worked fine. When I went with the Touch Pro, SPB Backup ran at about 30 minutes for a backup and I generally received a prompt like the backup failed. I then moved to the paid release of Sprite Backup and have had no problems.

I did not disable the closing programs option within SPB Backup and that may have been a problem.

Does Sprite backup usually take a long time? I used it to back up about 1.5Gb and it took 9.5 hours. That is insane! I have no clue why it took so long. Any ideas?
