I keep my playlists on my SD card and it reads from it there with ease. Never have to worry about loosing my stuff with a flash.

Its funny with the playlist files though. I copied them to my Internal Storage and reflashed my Diamond. When I copied them back to "device/application data/htc/audiomanager", the playlists did not show up in in the TF3D Music player.

I discovered though, that allI had to do was create a new playlist with the same name as one copied back to the directory, and the Diamond automatically re-fielded my tracks back in the playlist in proper order. So all I had to do was create new lists with the same names and all my tracks were re-fielded. Still a bit of a pain in the butt, but not as bad as re-creating them all over again.

So, my question is for tsousan is, how do you direct the player to read playlists from Internal Storage??? Or are you using a differnt Music Player than the stock TF3D?

I keep my music and playlist on the SD card. I use both WMP and use the TF3D player.

I have flashed my phone about 9 times in the past two weeks. Works like a charm every time. All I do is move over to the TF3D player and it finds it every time.

And exactly what directory do you have the playlist files in on your card?

Does your Diamond have an SD card or are you talking about "Internal Storage" (my CDMA Diamond has no SD slot).

I'm bored, so if you're still paying attention to this...

He's most likely not using the TF3D music player to create his playlists like you are(?). If you create them in WMP (on your computer... then sync) they'll be stored in \internal storage\playlists\

You should do it that way. Not only does it take wat too long to make playlists in TF3D, but I've had a playlist just disappear after a soft reset (that's how I found this thread - looking for an answer to that).
