POP mail won't delete from server?

I recently set up my normal POP/SMTP mail account on my new Diamond. Working great, except that when I delete messages they come back as new the next time I send/receive. I checked the account settings, and it is set to "delete from server" when I delete a message.

What gives? :confused:

How long between checking it? I noticed that if I send and receive within 1 min or so it comes back. I know someone will correct me if I am wrong but I think I fixed that by changing the storage location to the internal storage.
