Gps Failue. Cannot Communicate.
 

I am running the stock Sprint ROM but without Sprint customizations, highly modified manila, modified taskbar & all the gear that goes with TCPMP. Now I was able to use GPS with my modified manila, taskbar. I did a hard reset and installed everything from scratch along with the TCPMP stuff. Now when I try to use GPS with Livesearch it gives me the error "Sorry! Could not communicate with GPS on port 0".

Anybpdy have ANY kinda clue what could be causing this?

yea, i got that error wit my 800 before. in live search, go to menu/settings change the GPS setting to intermediate driver, then hit done.

Thanks so much for this fix!!! The GPS hasn't worked on my phone for about 6 weeks and no one could help until I read your post. Just three quick seconds and I'm back in business!

lol. it usually is something simple. thats y i always say have fun. play with ur fone, try this try that. backup first of course. but just poke around with stuff. ya mite learn something:thumbleft:

Searching here usually solves most of the problems. Thanx for the tip, had same problem and worked.
