Sprint navigation charging now?
I have a grandfather plan (everything for $119.99 monthly). This was the plan that came out before the $99.99 plan. The reason I keep it is because I am able to use my work discount and phone as a modem option. I have always been able to use Sprint navigation but for some reason now it wants me to pay for it. This was unlimited in my plan and have had it for over a year this way. When I called them tonight they told me that they are sorry but I have to pay for it now. I a told him that this is a change to my plan that I didn't authorize or know about. They said sorry. I this a breach of contract or can they just do what ever they want? Back in september I called with a question and the lady in retention extended my contract another year and I am still fighting with them over that because they won't change it back. I told them I never agreed to it (they have nothing in writing nor do they have a voice recording of the conversation) what should I do?

Re: Sprint navigation charging now?
I usually keep calling until i get a receptive representative. Chances are one of them will be able to help you out. This method might sound tedious and at times is, but I have never had to go through more than 3 reps before I got what I wanted and this only happened maybe once or twice.

Re: Sprint navigation charging now?
If GPS was included as unlimited in your plan, they cannot change it, your agreement in principle with Sprint is based on the contract you signed. You cannot not adjust it, without their permission, and they cannot adjust it without yours. A contract is binding both ways. The whole "material adverse", they made a change to your contract without giving you the option to say "no thanks".

Re: Sprint navigation charging now?
GPS Nav was never included in old plans. So if you have a grandfathered plan and were getting it for FREE, Sprint has corrected the error. The GPS is $9.99/month except for the newer plans as its included in the data package.
