send email
 

Prior MightyROM 4.2, I was able to receive and send yahoo email. now after installing Mighty rom 4.2, I can receive but can't send yahoo emails.

it keeps saying "the message could not be sent. check that you have network coverage and that your account infomation is correct. then try sending again"

I tried to remove and recreate new accounts but no luck. I am using imap4 email.

incoming mail server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
outgoing mail server: smtp.mail.com (EDIT: smtp.mail.yahoo.com)

anyone got an idea?

Not too sure but, Isn't the outgoing supposed to be smtp.mail.yahoo.com?

that was typO from my fist post. I had SMTP.MAIL.YAHOO.COM.

Oh, Ok. I believe someone else had a similar problem. I'll search through the threads for you and repost if I find it.

Try posting the issue your having in MightMike's ROM thread to see if other users are having this problem, as it seems to be an issue that is ROM specific.
