Multiple text message numbers for single contact?
 

I am new to the diamond and for some reason I can't have multiple numbers available to text message to for a single contact. It seems that only the mobile number gives the availability to text directly when you click on a contact and I can't put in more than one mobile number for each person. Any workaround for this? If I hold down a non-mobile number it lets me send a text from there but I don't get why it won't then show up in the list next time I select that contact?

I never understood this either... Sprint supports text to landline... I dont know why Microsoft would leave this out.

Is there at least a way to put in multiple mobile numbers for a single contact? I was able to put in multiple work numbers but not multiple mobile numbers?

I can text to the "Car phone" field and the mobile field.

I can text to any of the fields by holding down on that field in the contacts list and choosing text but I'd like it to come up as a standard option when it lists all the options for a particular contact. You'd think if you texted to it once it'd start working that way.
