HELP! Recovering deleted files
 

I just deleted some files off of my internal storage and I need them back! Is there some form of recycle bin or something. I check the ".Trashes" folder but there was nothing in in there and I don't know if that has anything to do with deleted stuff.

Help?!

Nand memory's a lot different than a magnetic drive... but even then, I've never heard of a data recovery program for ARM devices. I think you're out of luck.

If you deleted your files off INTERNAL STORAGE, you may be in luck.

I have not verified this, but this is what I would do...

Download the freeware version of Handy Recovery:
http://www.handyrecovery.com/handyrecovery-fw.exe

Connect your device to your computer using USB FLASH DRIVE METHOD, NOT ACTIVESYNC.

Run HandyRecovery on the drive.

If Handy Recovery does not work, google out a freeware data recovery app that supports USB flash drives.

Important: During this time, don't use your device or you may corrupt the deleted files.

Edit: You're running a Macbook, aren't you? Sorry, all the good recovery apps for for Windows.
