the way i set wallpapers is alot easier than everyone else has instructed...on my diamond in the settings on tf3d there is a wallpaper tab...says home wallpaper...i have the backgroundforall cab and i can switch pics just usin that...no need to mess w/ the windows folder.hope this helps some people who are havin problems...
The problem with background4alltabs cab is.. at least in my case the off centered slider and the white squares in the rest of the tabs. I tried the sprintfix cab but I was never able to get it to work on mine. I found manila to work the best and pretty easy to use, once u get the files you just paste them on the windows folder. Also you can change many things with it I was even able to put a cool banner where the sprint banner is thanks to JSZESZE of course.
As long as you use a .png image when you're replacing another one in manila and follow the other directions your fine (i tried using a jpg as background and the manila file wouldn't work the background just had different white lights all over).

But I'm new at all this so maybe if I could've gotten the wallpaper4alltabs cabs to work I would do that as well...seems faster and u don't need a computer whenever u want to change it.

EDIT: "Also you can change many things with it"... lol sorry about that kind of stating the obvious

Yeah, but it doesn't work on all tabs unless you have the cab... so it takes all the fun away. Since he specified that he had the cab (i'm guessing with none of my issues), it makes sense to do it that way instead of using manila editor. Just my guess...

most everyone here has the cab, i also stated the method is for those using the cab. its just way easyer than using the windiws method. i didnt want the people with the cab (which is most) to think they need to drop the files in windows. i like the easy way since i use the cab on both my phones.

Ahh, ok. I didn't catch that one... Sorry bout that.
EDIT: Lol, I'm the opposite though, I've had so much trouble trying to install cabs in a specific order and then the fixes and I almost always end up messing the phone and having to hard reset.

if you ever need help, feel free to pm me before you get to hard reset point. love to help, 901 thanx show that. lol a trick i also use, when my tp gets screwed up with wrong cabs or whatever, i use diamond tf3d config. to restore to stock, no hard reset. works well. either way, pm me if you need anything. darren

I have tried this with the cab and the manila file fix to align the tabs for Sprint and have never gotten it to fully work. I have the tabs lined up correctly but the background doesn't shine through the tabs like it does before running the background all tabs cab file and the calendar link on the home screen doesn't work either.

If I was going to use the copy the files to the windows folder method, do I need to backup the files they are replacing just in case I want to go back to stock? I don't want to do something that can't be undone.

Hey can someone tell me the easiest way to save a theme that I created?? I dont know, Im kinda noobish with all this theme stuff.. But I have figured out how to create my own, cuz I kept finding themes that I kinda liked but only certain parts of them. So, I have made a few pretty nice different colored themes, but I am TOTALY clueless on what I have to do to save it??? I know I have to save some manilla files to a zip, then cab em up, but no clue where or what manilla files...LOL!! Like I said b4, I think these are pretty nice and would like to post em on the site for whoever wants em, if I can save em. I have searched google and here but cant find what I am looking for? SO IF I MISSED THE "HOW TO SAVE THEMES FOR NOOBS" THREAD, IF THERE IS ONE, SORRY MY BAD..J/K..Im sure its pretty simple to do and I'll probably feel likw a dummy for askin but hey, cant learn without askin... Thanx in advance!
