Change the program quick access screen?

On my Alltel Diamond, my program quick access screen has 8 out of 9 blocks allocated to advertising programs, like RealTones Jukebox, Get Alltel Navigation, Youtube, that kind of stuff. I can't remove these buttons with the 'Remove' option because they are locked. Do I just explore to the folders of these programs and delete the folders? It seems like that would be a messy uninstall.

There is a program "TF3D Config" that will let you edit the programs - and unlock them.

You can download it here:

Install the cab... run it and go to the "Program Launcher" tab.

See solution in previous post. It worked well for me. Good luck!

Thanks. I downloaded and installed the program, but it seems like my registry is messed up. Having to do this much modification to my phone to get the basics down (GPS, changing the programs layout) is way out of line!

Agree. Unfortunately the two issues you mentioned are more to blame on the carrier than the phone, since it involves their own special "tweaks" and/or crippling of features. Btw, I'm wondering if Verizon is going to force a ROM update for us at some point in the future, since they've taken over Alltel, and what we'll gain/lose at that point ...
