Active Sync and 21109 = No Good?
Okay, I tried three different ROMs, all gave me the connection error for AS. I'm guessing it's the build? Maybe I'm the only suckaduck that uses AS, but I do use it...
Just checkin to see if I been hittin the ganja too hard... |

did you go to start/settings/usbtopc and uncheck enable advanced network function , your problem happened to me and i guess many others it usually detects straight away once you unchecked it

Don't understand... I am using the 21109 build and have no activesync problems at all....
using Calcu's preview 4.1 kitchen. |
Re: Active Sync and 21109 = No Good?
Using MightyRom4.1 and A/S is faster than ever.

Activesync can't get faster...

Re: Active Sync and 21109 = No Good?
Well, I sure don't know then. I IMMEDIATELY get the error, "CONNECTION NOT VALID, Cannot open connection "57600 Default". This connection is no longer valid or does not exist. Select a different connection and try again."
This is after I uncheck the boxes...I got it no Caulk, Mighty, and ntt. When I revert to Juicy 4.4 it work with no problem... Guess it's another one of those problems relegated to the World of Me... |

I get the same thing as you on my Sprint version. MightROM 3.9 works fine, but 4.x causes the exact same problem. I have a fresh rom, no additional software installed, and have hard reset. I have also replicated this same behavior on two other Diamonds from my friends. |
Re: Active Sync and 21109 = No Good?
Interesting, I had a similar issue, where the Vista version of Activesync, (windows mobile device center), would not detect the phone after the flash. I had to manually configure my Activesync settings, soft reset, and then it was detected.
