Thanks! I'll also add that when I restored the key (without it being multistring or with #777), get this, it worked fine. Go Fig. But I've just changed things now. Thanks!

I also just changed the Cache Time to 300. (5 min)

Re: UPDATE: WORKS!!!! Is there an AUTO - Data Disconnect regedit?

Well I was using GB-SOFT Tweak on my 800W (Sprint) and it changed the value fro #777 to the other setting that everyone is talking about. HOWEVER, now I cant answer a call right away, it takes EXTRA time when the phone rings and I press the answer key. I am still wanting to have it automatically disconnect the data service if not in use after so many minutes to save battery life but I DONT want the delayed answer issue.

I aam now trying something. I set the TWEAK program to 10 minutes and let it adjust the registry.. then I changed the setting back to #777 amd waited and did a soft-reset. I left the other registry setting that will allow for the # of seconds on timeout set to 10 minutes and we will see if it still disconnects. I would like for this to happen to save battery life. Will this work and if not, what can I do to have it disconnect the data when not in use but still answer the phone without a delay.

ANy suggestions??

Does not look like my idea worked.. NOw it does not disconnect.. How do I know if my data connection is IDLE? I want it to disconnect after a certain amount of time so it will save batter life BUT not have the phone answer issue...

Okay, here's a way to at least easily disconnect your data when you need to without going to the CommManager. This was taken from the Titan forum and it is a reg edite that I used to use on my old Mogul. Props "itsall cooool" to for posting it.

This edit allows you to see the duration of your Vision connection along with a button to disconnect it.
You see it in the bubble that is displayed when you tap the Vision icon on the top taskbar (the evdo (or 1x)box).

Click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Click ControlPanel
Click Phone
Click the bottom menu 'edit'
Select new dword value
Change the value name to "Flags2" (no quotes).
Select the 'hexidecimal' button.
Type 10
Click ok.
You should now see in the 'name/data' section:
Flags2 16 (0x00010)
exit regedit

When done, wait a full minute, then soft-reset the device.

This was done this PHMregedit, but this works for RescoExplorer too (what I used)

Since there are no real solutions to automatically disable data connections, while you edited SuspendResume there are options. For those who have e-mail linked to their phone might want to try this:

1. Start>Settings>Personal>Buttons( on the bottom of the screen are tabs, click END tab.) Now check off Automatically execute the selected action. Then check off Terminate data connection.

*Note* This option is great for when you notice data connection running. Just hold the END key to turn it off.

2. Having e-mail accounts on your device also start your connection. When setting up accounts you have options whether to Manually check mail or have the device check on a timed basis, the less checks it makes the better on battery life. I have mine set to EVERY 4 HOURS theres also ONCE A DAY.
Now After that click ADVANCED SETTINGS and UNCHECK Send/Receive when i click Send.
***That option solves alot of problems. people don't realize with that option active, every time you press the Send key Data connection starts up to check for e-mail.

I hope this helps. Would be nice if there was a program that would keep my #777 in Suspend/Resume and automatically disable data connection. Advanced Config & Diamond Tweak dont work, they just set it back to GPRS in Suspend/Resume. Making it impossible to answer phone calls without a delay.
