How to use ImapPusherService

So I'm reading the post about the ImapPusherService and they explain they have it push to their pocket Outlook email which I assume is the Outlook email option on the phone. I have a few email accounts setup on my phone but the Outlook Email one is never used and I don't know how to use it or set it up. The only way to create a new email account is to click New account but it never uses (Outlook email) . How do I get my Gmail account setup in the outlook option as opposed to creating a "new account" There is nowhere to add your gmail imap credential to Outlook email. I hope this makes sense. I'm sure many are reading this just saying WTF is he talking about.

I assume I need to use the outlook option to make this push work. Is that correct? I like the idea of instint email. Mine is now set to check every 5 minutes but that is also a battery hog.

PS damn bold sorry.

You said you have a few email accounts setup on your phone, what's the email program you're using?

Two Gmails and one from my ISP. I just want to push one of the gmail ones.

I'm pretty sure its working. My email is set to download once a day but I receive emails immediately.

I'm still boggled by the "Outlook email" mine isn't configured with an address because I don't know how.

Any affect on your battery life?

Its hard to tell yet. MY battery always sucked before because it was set to download emails every 5 minutes. I'm hoping it gets better but I've been chatting over BeeJive all day so it has drained really fast. Will have a better update over the next few days.

Hope to hear how it turns out a few days from now. Good luck.
