gmail sent problem.

Hi, I apologized up front if this is a dumb question. don't want to get persecuted. I tried to look up this issue, but can't seemed to find the right search results.

My gmail set up was pretty straight forward, and it would work for a couple of days both sending and receiving. For whatever reason, it will stop sending and giving me an error message. (while recieving has always been fine) It's frustrating as hell as it always poop out on me when I need to send an important mail. I don't get it why it worked first and stop sending after.

Please help? thanks,

RJ

Re: gmail sent problem.

Try looking here. It's a real common issue and I'm not sure if a definitive solution has been found. I use Seven for my email and it works great, so if you can't get it working, you might want to try that instead.

Solution found: Thank You Tripdub1. The official MS fix is here as per link you provided.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...playlang=en&tm

It appears to fix the sent issue (for now). I know it's not a gmail issue because same problem happens to my yahoo plus account. This microsoft fix should be the solution. But again, it's microsoft, so I will wait a bit to see if the problem returns.

Anyhow, thanks again.

Re: gmail sent problem.

I started to have this problem since last night. I applied the MS fix, but still cannot reply to a hotmail address.

Update: sending out a new message to the same address is fine, just cannot reply to.

Update: Once I deleted the long (not very long actually) quotes, the replied message went out fine. Not sure if this is a Pocket Outlook issue or hotmail issue, caused by the length of the message or some content in the quotes.
