Diamond can't see bluetooth devices

I can't get my new (stock sprint ROM) HTC Diamond to connect with my Plantronics 855z bluetooth headset. My diamond can't see the device. When I go add device in the bluetooth connection manager nothing pops up!
I have tried this with my bluetooth in connectable and discoverable mode.
The headset was working with my sprint vogue before I got this diamond.

I did install the PPCgeeks A2DP BT Hack onto my diamond before all this. The hack worked well on my vogue.

Has anyone else had this problem or any problems with your Diamond not seeing bluetooth devices?

Any fixes?

Uninstall the hack and see if you can get it to hook up..
also you have to make your phone in connectable/discoverable mode too... not just the headset.
On the bluetooth screen where you go to connect devices first click the "mode" tab and click the discoverable button. (If you have already tried this I'm sorry for redundancy)

Sounds like the A2DP hack is the culprit as Eeniemini said above.

Uninstall the A2DP hack (then soft reset), as the Diamond is already A2DP capable out of the box. As far as putting the phone is Discover mode, that is not necessary as the phone is not being discovered by the headset. Just make sure BT is turned on, on the phone, and that the BT headset is in Discover Mode.

Hopefully the regedits (A2DP hack) will uninstall correctly. Worst case scenario you would need a regeditor and manually fix was was changed, or just Hard Reset the device and that will undo any changes made to the phone.

Wish ya good luck
