Texting problems
 

Not sure whats happening everything been running ok since i had juicy 4.4 when it came out but lately i been getting texts really late. They come like 3 hours later or so. I talked to sprint people and they told me to remove the battery for 2 min then put back in and try it, i did but no go and im still getting msgs from 2 or 3 hours earlier. Anyone can help?

I had that problem last weekend and tech support told me it was a network problem...

Yes...delayed text messages are almost always network related.

As others have said, Yes. Nothing to do with your phone or ROM. Your phone will indicate that it has received a message when the network actually sends it to the phone (unless your out of signal coverage, at which point you will receive them when you receive a signal again).

Not receiving the message for hours after it has been sent is a direct indication of a network issue. Call your company's tech department and make them aware of it so that a trouble ticket can be put in.
