Why is my Diamond so laggy?
 

My Diamond is really laggy. Getting kind of frustrating. Sorry because I'm sure its posted somewhere but I didn't find it. Any solutions? Thank you in advance.

If your on the stock rom, thats just how it is. You can try the update Telus just released or you can install a custom rom.

thinking about a custom rom. sorry to keep buggin you but what rom would you suggest? im kinda new to all this and dont know the difference between the custom roms and the stock one =/

Well the one I'm running right now is Juicy's 4.3. It runs pretty smooth.

Stock means the rom that came with the unit. A custom one is a rom put together from another user. Sounds like your just on the stock one. You can try the update on the Telus site, that might smooth it out, but the custom ones usually add features you might want as well. As for which custom one, thats up to you. As it been said above you will have to see which one has the features you want.

the problem with asking people what rom they suggest is that everyone has a diffrent answer. someone said juicys rom but i personally like ntt rom. the best thing to do is try out a few roms and see which one you like

im on the sprint rom with a few tweaks including diamond tweak and my diamond is blazing fast

on every other ppc ive owned, ive always went with custom roms, but on this i dont feel the need to have one
