hard reset
 

Has anyone had problems with doing a hard reset? I know I'm doing it right but it just won't work! the only way I've been abe to do one is by going to settings>clear storage.

oh, yeah i've tried it all. no matter what it just starts back up like a did a soft reset. tried all kinds of ROM's . on OMJ's right noe...

i actually got it to work last night, although the phone had to be powered off. Then down/enter/power soft reset. Phone is set up again so don't want to try again.

Well, yes. The phone needs to be first powered off for it to work. While holding enter and volume down, then press power. Soft reset button is not needed.

Yes, and No.

You can do it with both the power on and the power off.

Power + VolumeDown + Enter + Reset (while turned on)
or
VolumeDown + Enter + Power (while turned off)
