Htc Diamond Vista Drivers For Qpst

1 Attachment(s)
After which seemed forever searching, I finally found drivers that worked with Vista so that my laptop would recognize when my Diamond went into diagnostic mode (##DIAG#). So, I was finally able to use QPST and change my MSL.

Hope this helps others!

MODS: IF THIS IS POSTED ELSEWHERE PLS FEEL FREE TO REMOVE. THANKS!

EDIT: FORGOT TO ADD THE FILE....LOL

EDIT: ALSO WORKS WITH OTHER HTC DEVICES ON VISTA.

I downloaded the driver and put my phone in Diag mode and I still could get it read my phone. Can someone please give me some directions to get my phones msl# to 000000.

Run the setup and when it sits on waiting bla bla bla... ##diag# or ##diag when at the diag screen plug in usb cable you will see windows trying to find a drive let it find the drive and then the setup will say finish simple as that. Ive used it on both 32 and 64 bit versions of vista. Then use what ever is out there bit pm, qpst or cdma general. Use the search button theese tutorials have been posted many times.

sorry for the noob question but, what advantage is there to changing my msl to zeros? tethering?

I remember trying to use qpst for gps set up and it not working on my vista laptop. so thanks for the drivers!

Many thanks, stevedog1, I've been looking for it for quite some time myself, it worked great :)

More specifically it works for the HTC Touch (vogue) CDMA (Bell) on Windows Vista Home Premium... Even though the driver is obviously based on Sprint binaries...

One thing, my HTC Touch (Bell) appears in QPST 2.7 build 301 as "SURF7500". Thought I'd point it out for other newbies at tweaking the Touch such as myself ;)

Can someone help me set up the mms on my htc touch diamond please? email me please at EMAIL ADDRESS REMOVED BY MODERATOR

What does this have to do with this thread??

Please do a search first, and if you still cannot find an answer, at that point please post your mms questions in the general forum, and not in specific threads.

Edit: Here is the cab. Next time, pls use the search function above.
