Removing Carrier Start up Logo on HTC Touch Diamond.
 
Please can any one help with removing or changing Carrier power up logo on Sprint HTC Touch Diamond.

look for a program on here call personalizer...

In the "My Device/Windows" folder, the shut down animation is called "animated_HTC.gif"

And the one you're looking for, the sprint start up animation is called .... "Startup_640x480.gif"

there is also in this same folder....

HTCABOUTLOGO.gif ... HTC logo that is on the "About" screen


...again both Gif's are in the "My Device/Windows" folder.


Simply replace these two animated gif's with your own custom ones and name them what the originals are named. No need for any "personalization" program or custom rom.

Edit -- what I haven't found is the "Touch Diamond" logo at the VERY start up of the phone anywhere. Anybody who knows where that one is gets a shiny penny.

someone with a pro found that file. ill see if i can find the post. it can be done, i gota find it.

Or don't.. Personalizer is known to break the receiving of picturemail... we can't figure out why as we can still send but the picturemail does not come to the phone once it hits sprint's website when personalizer is installed. I can make this happen and fix it by installing/removing on both Diamond and Touch Pro. Other's have "fixed" picturemail by taking removing the program.

How about the sound at start up...that bothers me more than the animation. Do you know how to turn it off?

Try this:HKCU\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction\CDMA\Fl ightModeOnOff
“EnableSound” = 0
