Weather/Temp program with radar
 

Looking for favorites to display current temp and to pull up radar with a tap - don't need forcast on today screen, just ability to obtain with a tap..

pocket express has a radar & forcast, its also free... not sure if it supports vga but i've used it on my touch before http://express.handmark.com/

This doesn't display the information on the today screen, it's also not completely free anymore - I'm not sure if weather is or not, but several aspects of that program cost, so I don't use it.

You might check out Weather Panel. Check out the WP themes in the WP Themes Sub-Forum (under the general Themes Forum).

There are a couple of options:
1. You can put the today plug-in under a "tabbed" application.
2. There are themes available that show just one line of info (e.g., current temp, etc). You can then get the expanded info by opening WP from the today screen plug-in.

It might not quite be what you're look for though...

Thanks COZ. I am using Weather panel now but it doesn't have any maps or radar, and I can't seem to configure it to show the temp only. It shows me the entire week's forecast. I've changed the skins, I guess I'd need a specific skin but I'm a little stingy with my memory and space so I don't want to download any additioinal skins.

Hey, have you tried Weather Watcher? It's a standalone app that has maps and radar I believe. It's really just a modified PIE it seems, but it does the job.

EDIT: I actually haven't used it since my Mogul, I just tried it on my Diamond and it has a glitch where it opens Opera everytime I update. That's no good...

Hmm.....you're right, that's no good....lol
Have you gotten it working correctly? I read that several people had it working well.
