Transfer/Synch Music Store from Touch to Diamond
 

I have an old Touch (Vogue) with Sprint Music on its SD card. I want to transfer the Sprint music to the Diamond. This would not present a problem if the Diamond had either removable memory OR allowed web synch on the Sprint player. This phone offers neither.

Sprint is unhelpful, telling me I would have to download each of 200+ songs individually. Another rep told me to transfer the songs on the Vogue SD to the Diamond fixed memory. This almost works. I have ended up with roughly half the songs working and half the songs with an album cover and song info WITHOUT THE SONG!.

I can't figure our why some music downloaded (all were purchased through the Sprint Music Store) and other music is a mere shell. I have compared the files and found no differences. I have re-copied the individual file. I reformatted the entire phone. :disgust:

This must have something to do with the stupid digital rights that Sprint uses, but why did some copy and others not? Any other suggestions how I can get MY MUSIC, my purchased Sprint music, from one phone to another?

Okay. I've given up on anyone knowing how to do a direct transfer. Has anyone used Sprint PC backup to replace music on their phone? How is it done? Is it just a file transfer? I don't want to screw up the digital rights, so I need to do this right the first time.
