Disable touch scroll wheel (dpad)
 

Anybody know how to do this?

I thought this feature would be useful but I just find it annoying. Every once in a while I'll be texting someone and accidentally change the size of the font.

Doesnt really need a bump, but w/e since I want to know the same thing. I HATE THE TEXT SIZE CHANGING! Arrrgh!

I haven't really tried disabling or doing anything to it as it doesn't really bug me but use a registry editor and search for SmartTouch or Smart Touch. I know I remember seeing a place where it identified which programs it was enabled for. Maybe you could just selectively disable it for tmail.exe (mail and txt msg app).

OK I found the folder for it at HKLM\Software\HTC\SmartTouch but Im not sure what keys to add of change. There is noting relating to tmail.

Anyone wanna take a look?

diamond tweak will allow you to change the settings and enable/disable it in specific applications

I recommend using Diamond Tweak to change settings and examine the registry before and after. That way the exact reg edits can be identified.

Yeah I did that and there was nothing for the text messaging app and Im not really sure what string to create... anyone else got an idea?

+1, This thing is really starting to piss me off. Trying to call ppl and it keeps missing the target. When i go to hit the center button for the person i want to call it scrolls up or down and calls someone I DON'T wanna talk to.
