Diamond Sprint

I have ask when you unlock diamond sprint can you us T-mobile SIM card then? I ask that because a dont undrstend what is CDMA phone? I read on some web page for diamond sprint "Please remember that this is a CDMA phone, meaning it does NOT take SIM CARDS!"
Is that mean that can use Sim card form other carriers before unlocking or that mean he dont have SIM port?
Thanks for answer!

Re: Diamond Sprint

They are two totally different radios. Sprint is CDMA and T-Mo is GSM and uses sim cards. They are incompatible.

OMG come on man seriously if you dont know the diff between CDMA and GSM you really should not be trying to flash your phone or do any modifications for that matter.

When you unlock a CDMA Diamond like Sprint's, you can flash it with different ROMs and can use it on other CDMA carriers like Verizon, Alltel, Cricket, Telus, & Bell.

No you can not use a Sprint Diamond on any GSM network. Is it impossible since it does not have a SIM card slot and it also does not support GSM frequencies.

If you need a GSM diamond look for one on eBay, or BestBuy.com (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1218005636408)

Remember for it to work in US it must support 850MHz/1900Mhz Frequencies (The GSM Diamond Does).

Also the GSM Diamond only supports AT&T's 3G and will NOT work on T-Mobile's 3G as it does not support T-Mobile's 1700Mhz AWS 3G. It will work on T-Mobile's voice, gprs, and edge, but not its 3G.
