My phone stopped syncing and now says that my certificate is invalid. In the past when this happen I could delete the exchange server in Active Sync and then reinstall the settings. I would get a message asking for approval and then it would work. Now I cant get the box that asks for approval. It just says that my certificate is not valid. I have now had a soft and hard resets. How come I get the question regarding security and now I cant get it.

Regarding the certificates I am really confused. I don't know what to do. I have found two ways to download certificates. One way there are to CER files which I keep on my memory card. If I go through OWA I see the export function but there is no way to downlaod to CER.

I DONT MEAN TO WINE BUT SOMEBODY PLEASEEEEEE HELP ME - I AM DROWNING

The one thing that worked for me to be able to pull all certificates needed was to sync via USB to the exchange on the domain. So try to sync your device to your OWA server via a USB cable on a computer on your domain. Once I did this for my device, I have not had a problem syncing OTA since.

when I sync with my work exchange server, it auto install a certificate for me and all I have to do is agree to the auto lock policy, which I then got an autounlock program to bypass it :)

Worked great for years...

I am also having issues with getting my OTA sync with work Exchange... I've read through posts but did not quite understand whether it is the problem on my side or on the server. My sync actually works perfectly fine when I have my phone connected through the USB. However, ones I disconect it, it keeps telling me that my credentials are uncorrect, suggesting me to fix them... As far is I understand this problem is somehow connected with proxy server setup? Is there something I can do to fix this???? Thank you!!!

I've been using this procedure I posted a while back which is basically what I think the folks posting above are doing. Works great. Phone never has to touch a computer and I can hard reset from anywhere and sync it up again.

No change between 6.0 and 6.1, it's worked perfectly.

It did not work for me :( My phone syncs just fine as long as it is connected through the USB to my work computer, but as soon as I disconect it it starts telling me that "my credentials are incorrect" and wants me to re-enter my password... So, the problem is - connects fine to work exchange server through USB connection to my office computer; does not connect OTA. Can it be b/c of some security settings that IT guys my have imposed? I can't ask them as the only answer I get is "we do not support Windows Mobile phones"...
