Looking into getting a diamond off of ebay!

Now looking at flashing and stuff, I realize that there are two (?) main versions of the phone.
Am I right in thinking that?

I also understand that one of these versions is called CDMA and the other GSM?

So could anyone tell me what version a diamond from the UK would be? Im pretty sure it would be a GSM?

And are ROMs dependant on the version of phone you have, or is it just the setting up of the phone eg . Hardspl and Radio?

And one more thing, has any one got a link explaining what all these terms mean in detail?

YES, roms are dependent on the version of the phone.. GSM roms are for only GSM phones and will not work on CDMA and vice versa.. you can't buy a GSM phone and expect to get it working on a CDMA US network...

So where can i find roms for GSM phones?

Do you mean to say you cant have roms on a GSM phone so I need to by the international version?
