since it is not TF3D can it simply be turned off and then TF3D be turned on so you can use both?

yes its just like a plugin, u can select it from the settings/today/items list

hey jquill, no unfortunately u cant set a custom "background" but for the picture tab u can use any pic file, so its technically a small, framed, background

i think its more of a shortcut to facebook online, but not 100% on it. Try it out, u can always uninstall :)
