Question about DM failed

I am sure this is a silly question but what does this mean:
DM failed please try again later

What is it and why did it fail?

I had no data, when tried updating profile and PRL I would get that message.
I did however get my data services working.

its saying it didn't find a PRL file... go search for 60614, download it, put it in you internal storage then....
wait a sec... i did this and it does absolutely nothing without a data connection.. sprint has some issues with provisioning data connections, should be solved in the next 24 hrs tho...
