Re: Sprint Diamond on VZW network?

Are they just outright refusing to take the ESN from you or are they telling you that when then enter the ESN it is no good/invalid?

Re: Sprint Diamond on VZW network?

The verizon store told me sprint owns the MEID / ESN to that phone and has to release it to be via a subsidy code. And then they can get it on the VZW network. But sprint, although not really listening to what I have to say, is simply telling me that I cannot have any codes until I am a Sprint customer. I dont kno what to do.

Re: Sprint Diamond on VZW network?

Well, I talked to someone again at verizon. And she was incredibly nice, helpful, courteous, and spoke english... All things I cant find from the sprint reps. We established that this ESN is just too far off from what Verizon has that it simply wont take it... If VZW had a version of this phone, even if only the first three or so digits of the MEID or ESN were the same then their system would auto populate and take it. But it has no basis for this device since to them it doesn't exist at all... And through all my endeavors of speaking to these different service reps I cant bear to go to sprint. They are the most un helpful bunch of out sourced foreigners that could be thrown together without knowing what they are doing and called tech support ever! lol but really, its pretty bad! I dont know what to do... If Sprint would offer me service without contract for bringing my own phone to the table id take it... Then as soon as verizon gets the phone id leave and take it back there..... Oh well... Maybe this will proove usefull to someone else in my situation.
