Album Art in Audio Manager

I have a Sprint CDMA Diamond with the stock sprint rom. I have all of my music (with album art files) in /Internal Storage/My Documents/My Music
All of the album covers show correctly in windows media player, but not in HTC audio manager or the player on my manilla/home screen. There, it only shows the cover for the first album on the list for ALL of my mp3s. Does anyone know a fix for this?? Thanks!

I'd love to know the answer to this! I know there is a work-around involving manually putting images there and lots of renaming, but that really is a pain.

If Windows Media can find the cover art automatically (presumably CDDB or something), why can't the Sprint Player? Should be an option in the menu, something like "Find Album Art" or something.

Hopefully Sprint comes out with a new ROM with this fix.

Just curious, how did you put the music files onto your device? Did you just drag and drop, or did you sync them using WMP on your computer?

Tried both approaches. The same MP3 on the Touch in Windows Media will show the album art, but the same MP3 in the Sprint Player doesn't. Obviously Windows Media has already downloaded the album cover, why can't Sprint Player just use that? C'mon, it's obvious!

WIndows Media comes on the Sprint ROM, so it's not like it's a dependency on some software that isn't already there anyway...
