trying to figure this out also. Need to replace the stock contact manager for good. This worked just fine on the touch but on the pro it just will not work unless i open it with the icon in programs

any update? I installed icontacts but the microsoft contact screen comes up instead of the icontacts. I checked the registry info and it says icontacts, but the microsoft one still comes up.

Same... can't really find the perfect solution. Even asked on XDA, the closest thing would be the regedit, but it's odd how it worked on my previous Sprint Touch and now it's broken on the Touch Diamond.

This worked perfectly for me on a Touch Diamond with WM6.1 .... now the All People leads to iContact - great app!

Launch SSMAPA
In first tab click on INIT
When loaded, click on "Replace POutlook" and go in second TAB (settings)
Flag Path Enabled
New program: put the path of icontact, for me (in italian) is \memorizzazione interna\programmi\icontact\icontact.exe
Argument: $
Working dir:\memorizzazione interna\programmi\icontact\

SAVE
Go in TAB "deploy" click on "Deploy patch" --> OK ---> Exit

Now when you go in "people" and you click on "all people" you open icontact!!!

my path was: program files\icontact\icontact.exe
its too different from w/e that is in Italian but it doesnt have anything b4 "prog. files"

I found it easier to just change my right softkey with a reg edit.

HKLM/Software/HTC/manila/
HomeRSKPath: \Program Files\iContact\iContact.exe
HomeRSKText: iContact

If you change these with the location of the programs you want to link to, and simultaneous change the name
