I have used logmein.com which is freaking amazing. You can scale resolution, transfer files, and connect to multiple pcs. They have a free service which u can register for at logmein.com. It requires you to install a client running on the pc you want to control and then just go to straight to the logmein.com website on your phone. it also installs a client on your phone and there ya go.

I use it to connect to my media server and home, and to fix peoples computers I have it set up for.

I personally just use Windows Remote Desktop, it's free and does the trick for me.

eh.. nice but costs a monthly service fee which logmein does not. Remote desktop would also work and is free of course. Requires some port forwarding knowledge if you have a router at home.

i hate the windows one because it resizes the desktop resolution everytime i login from my phone, and that messes up my icons and whatnot.
