Video messaging and custom ringtones
 

I wanted to clsuter these under "multimedia" type of question.

Firstly, i was messing around with the camera today, and it is awesome. waaaaay better tha ni thought. the effects are so cool. i noticed there is a video call and video mms. when i try to record a video t osend, the send button is shaded out saying not enough storage room. this is bogus i have 3.7 gigs free. is telus doing thsi to minimize data transfer, or is it something else.
Is there a cab or a program to unlock this. it would be pretty cool to send a video message and have video calling.

Secondly, i was fidgeting with the rintones, the mp3 trimmeris nice, so i wanted to take advantage of it to make custom ringtones for all my boys and girls, but i adding custom ringtones was not too friendly to me. Does this also require a program, or am i just a mega newb?

If you get cab files, and programs, please post.

Helpful efficient tips to find files easily on the forum is also appriciated.

The video conferencing add-on is only available on GSM models, I.E. AT&T and European models so you can't make video calls. You can Take a video and send it via E-mail. I'm not quite sure about MMS though. I haven't played with it that much. Someone might be able to figure it out but so far that hasn't happened so there is no .cab for it. It's the carrier's way of saying.." This option is available...just not for you" type of thing.

After you make your ringtone, save it to your "My Ringtones" folder on the device, NOT your internal storage my ringtones folder and it should work. Some say that their ringtones work from the internal storage folder but I have never been able to get that to work correctly.

It is because the GSM models have a .5 MP camera on the face of the phone for video conferencing and messages and the CDMA models do not.

what about that video mms. it doesn't evne let me record the video to send, says no storage. whic his obviously a scam, but is there a way of enabling video messaging?
