Check the autorun reg entry to see that it is correctly pointing to the gyrator exe.

HKCU>SOFTWARE>HTC>BOOTLOAD or something like that.

I'm attaching fingerkeyboard 2.1 in landscape with the non visible task bar option (you can set it to show bottom bar or not) and the original HTC QWERTY that comes with the phone.

I don't think there are any compact qwerty keyboards for landscape mode at all.

Yeah, it kind of defeats the purpose of compacting it when using it in landscape.
