A2DP Annoyances on Sprint Diamond...

Has anyone had any A2DP issues with their Sprint Diamond?

My Jabra BT8010 has been having one minor issue...

Once the A2DP profile is active, Bluetooth A2DP turns on randomly and stays on for no reason. All I hear is blank noise. When I try to play actual audio, nothing comes through. I have to power cycle the headset.

I've tried searching the forums for this exact issue with no luck. I remember having a similar issue with my old Sprint Touch (Vogue). Those were resolved in the 6.1 update. I'm wondering if a new BT stack would fix it up.

Any ideas?

I'm having a similar problem with my S9, I think a new stack might help, you can also use the diamond tweaker, that has helped some but a new stack is definitely in order.

I'm also having connection quality problems with my S9. They worked perfectly with the Touch, but skip in and out with the Diamond. I have to put my phone in my back pocket while walking to get a solid connection. If it's in my side pocket it'll cut in and out.

Does anyone have any A2DP devices working well with the diamond?

My Sony/Erricson SBH DS980's work fine, infact they sound better with the Diamond than they do with my Mogul or Treo 800w.

Any issues with Sprint TV?

My Jabra BT8010 is working very well with MUSIC... Sprint TV doesn't want to play nice with it though.

Cnet just posted a deal on the BT8010 from TigerDirect. Apparently they're selling it for 19.99 plus 7 shipping. I was about to jump on the deal. What do you think? Is it worth it even for this price or should I splurge and get something more expensive?

Edit: Just looked up the price on the Sony mentioned above. Too rich for my blood (about $100).

The Jabra BT8010 is awesome, especially for that price! The Diamond just needs it's bluetooth stack updated.
